In keeping with our progressive approach, I collaborated with other teachers to innovate new curriculum that fused art and design with core academic subjects in interesting ways. Portfolio School sadly closed its doors in 2023 after doing a lot of great work.

I primarily helped to develop and co-teach large collaborative art and design projects that fostered social emotional learning and integrated student learning from core academic classes like science, history and more. I worked in long-term partnerships with many different public and private schools to help them create new arts-focused curricula and design great classroom spaces for students to make art and design projects. I also took professional quality photos for the organization that landed in outlets like the New York Times, NPR, Wired and more.
