Monalisa Chatterjee is working as a Senior Technical Consultant Reservoir with Tracerco Limited at Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has sixteen years of reservoir engineering experience spanning areas of advanced tracer studies, inflow/ intelligent tracer survey, frac tracing, reservoir characterization, surveillance, simulation, drilling, well intervention, advanced EOR techniques, well test analysis, geology and geophysics with exposure to vast genre of oil and gas fields across the GCC, Caspian and Russia (previously).She is specialised in advanced applications and interpretation of tracer studies at reservoir and well levels spanning the areas of water and gas interwell tracer studies, intelligent/ inflow slow-release tracer surveys, single well chemical tracer tests, interwell oil saturation estimation for EOR studies, tracer applications in hydraulic/ acid fracturing, miscibility studies etc. Additionally, she manages all Tracerco laboratories and staff across GCC and Caspian.Previously she worked as a Reservoir Engineer with the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited at the Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS), Ahmedabad, India. At IRS she worked with the Assam Asset Development Group and carried out Reservoir Simulation Studies on various fields of Assam through Petrel RE and CMG-IMEX.She also worked with the Scientific Team of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Laboratory at IRS and managed Chemical EOR Projects for various fields of ONGC. Previously with ONGC, she had worked with both the Reservoir Data Acquisition as well as the Reservoir Management Group. She was intensely involved in exploration and development activities towards fulfilling “Mission 6 Million” of Tripura Asset, an invaluable project of ONGC. She is well trained in advanced well test interpretation through PanSystem and gas production forecasting through FORGAS through her experience at the Asset. She was a part of the team that managed the gas production activities of the asset and accomplished various tasks in the E&P hydrocarbon value chain.
