Dr. Mona Majed Alyami is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems at Taif University, Saudi Arabia. With a Ph.D. in IS from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), her expertise includes business intelligence, technology acceptance, IS theories, and user behavior. Dr. Alyami has made significant contributions in academia and beyond; she is the founder and Vice President of the Saudi Association for Information Systems (SaudiAIS), a branch of the global Association for Information Systems (AIS), which facilitates knowledge exchange and builds the IS community across Saudi Arabia. Additionally, she was the conference co-chair for the inaugural Saudi Conference on Information Systems #SaudiCIS2024.Dr. Alyami currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the MIS Department, where she aids in strategic planning, program development, and quality assurance. Recognized for her administrative and academic excellence, she has received awards and appreciation from various institutions, including the Saudi Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, the Saudi Cultural Mission in Malaysia, and the Ministry of Education.She combines technical expertise in software, programming, and data analysis with a range of emotional intelligence skills, including communication, leadership, mentoring, public speaking, attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility. In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Alyami balances her roles as a mother, wife, daughter, and sister, reflecting her dedication and enriching all aspects of her life.
