With a degree in International Marketing from Marwari College, Bhagalpur, I founded and lead Maria Overseas, a successful textile export company that produces and sells various handloom fabric and related products. For more than 28 years, I have been involved in the textile industry, learning from my family and friends who are weavers and local suppliers in Bhagalpur, a town famous for its silk weaving traditions.At Maria Overseas, I oversee the entire business operations, from market research and product development to customer relationship management and sales strategy. I export my products to 18 countries, mostly in Europe, showcasing the rich and diverse culture and heritage of my region. I also create employment opportunities and empower the local weavers and artisans who work with me, enabling them to earn a decent income and improve their living standards. My goal is to expand my market reach and customer base, and to innovate and improve the quality and design of my products.
