As a Student Organization Advisor, I oversee club meetings while creating a safe space for students to develop their leadership skills and promote their advocacies. I supervise students to translate their ideas into events and transform their passion into activities beneficial for their community. I also collaborate with students in organizing 30+ events, highlighting a student-organized event wherein the student body participated and had an interactive discussion regarding healthy relationships in their lives with teachers, mental health professionals, and staff. Aside from this, I promote higher attendance for events like school supply pick-up, with over 200+ students and parents during the first day alone. Working as the Lead Teacher for KIPP DC College Preparatory, I collaborate with teachers and colleagues in two different content teams while teaching 11th-grade Algebra 2 and 10th-grade Geometry. I advise co-teachers and provide helpful recommendations regarding strategic delivery styles and classroom management. Furthermore, I proactively communicate and engage with families and guardians regarding student progress and academic standing.

Serving as the Lead Teacher and Capital Teaching Residency Mentor, I train and develop capital teaching residents by modeling excellent teaching methodologies, gradually releasing classroom teaching responsibilities, and implementing weekly coaching and performance evaluation to ensure efficient operations and processes. I oversee and facilitate the school's transition to remote learning for the Math content team by directing lesson planning, developing multiple unit plans for the algebra content team, and serving as a resource for fellow math teachers in both teams. During my service as the Geometry Lead Teacher, I monitored students' academic progress and mentored them by providing helpful academic advice to boost their academic standing. I established a creative and productive learning environment while tracking and analyzing data to enhance teaching methodologies. I also promoted a culture that empowers students by affirming their identities and a sense of belongingness for all students. Aside from this, I provided extensive support to fellow teachers in handling lesson execution and behavior management to drive teaching processes.
