I play a pivotal role at Warsaken, an innovative military-themed deck construction game available in physical and online NFT formats, as the Principal Software Engineer. In this capacity, I automated image processing by converting hundreds of thousands of still frames into APNG files while collaborating closely with user experience designers and engineers to architect the online game version using React, TypeScript, and advanced 3D CSS features. I actively contribute to cross-team efforts, mentor team members, and ensure seamless integration and functionality. I am spearheading the migration of the backend infrastructure to Supabase to optimize data storage and enhance gameplay functionality.

At RBN, a real estate rewards network that incentivizes clients to work with RBN Participating Agents, I serve as the Principal Architect, leading the entire technology stack from initial concept and architecture to full-scale development. My role encompasses overseeing the backend architecture, which utilizes a PostgreSQL database interfaced through GraphQL with additional NodeJS functionalities, and the frontend developed in React with TypeScript, Apollo Client, and Styled Components. I am spearheading the launch of a new site version that leverages WordPress and Elementor, featuring a custom system designed to streamline the development and testing of Elementor widgets in React.

I returned to Set Jet after it resumed operations to update the software I wrote 10 years earlier. The WordPress theme was updated and most functionality was moved into a new plugin. After migrating data into SugarCRM, I facilitated automation development in it. I integrated AI into some of more time consuming processes such as ID verification. Conversion to React was underway when the company ceased operation in February of 2024.

As the primary developer at My Golf Pitch, a crowdfunding platform tailored for the golf community, I played a vital role in realizing the project's vision and transforming it into a fully operational website. Leading a team of developers, I expertly tackled the challenge of building a platform from the ground up, similar to well-known crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo. To ensure dynamic user engagement, we implemented a real-time WebSocket connection that provided instantaneous project updates to all clients, significantly elevating the overall user experience and facilitating project success within the golf community.

As a key contributor at Empulse, I played a pivotal role in revolutionizing mobile app advertising through pioneering visual engagement strategies. Responsible for the project's entire lifecycle from conception to execution, I single-handedly architected and implemented the comprehensive system. This involved designing a robust database, developing iOS and Android plugins, integrating JavaScript components, engineering NodeJS endpoints, and constructing an intuitive admin control panel. My multifaceted involvement significantly expanded the company's technological prowess and positioned it for success in the competitive mobile app landscape.

Contributing my expertise to KULT iD, an innovative social platform for product promotion and revenue sharing, I joined the team two weeks before its launch. Taking over the development from an external company, I quickly adapted to become the sole DBA and backend/mobile developer. After resolving critical backend performance issues post-launch, I significantly reduced response times from over 30 seconds to under 2 seconds. In addition, I was nearing completion of a React Native version of the app for both iOS and Android when the company ceased operations in mid-December due to legal challenges.

At Eufora, I led a team of 3-4 developers while driving the development and enhancement of several high-impact projects. As part of my responsibilities, I designed a flight booking system for a partner organization, engineered a search engine submission site, and conceptualized an affiliate platform for a prominent network provider. I successfully integrated advanced technologies such as Stripes, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, jQuery, Twilio, and dynamic image generation to optimize performance and functionality. Additionally, I streamlined the maintenance of our primary platform by transitioning it to a more efficient framework and oversaw the phase-out of a critical product line. Throughout these endeavors, I effectively managed my team, ensuring project success and fostering a collaborative work environment.

As the Principal Architect at Set Jet, a distinctive shared aircraft charter service operating between select airports in the US Southwest. I architected and implemented the entire technology stack. This encompassed a MySQL booking database with a REST interface, a WordPress front-end with jQuery for signup and flight booking, and a jQuery-built admin site. A key accomplishment was developing an iPhone app for the 2013 launch and leveraging Grabba dock's fingerprint and barcode scanners for passenger identification.

As part of my role in ensuring the quality and performance of PCI Express FPGA designs, I spearheaded the development of extensive test suites for comprehensive design validation. This involved creating C++ drivers, JNI wrappers, Java applications, and a robust scripting platform for regression analysis on Linux and Windows operating systems.
