There are a million ways we can create a lasting impact in this world and create a legacy. I strive to create impact by setting an example both professionally and personally on how to lead with a servant's heart, setting a standard of communicating with a tone of respect and appreciation for everyone. I strive to inspire everyone to navigate the world with integrity, determination, strength, openness, grace, and most of all kindness and love. Being a veteran of the Foster Care system and having an extensive career working in non-profits, I have both experienced and seen a great need for more mental health services and support across our society today. I am now focusing my energies in this realm and in what I have the greatest passion for, which is to connect people to their healing. My goal is to help guide others in healing their own thoughts, minds, hearts, and lives. For 20 years, I have worked in mainly non-profit organizations. Many roles of my required that I wear several different hats or develop in new areas of expertise. This allowed me to develop an extensive wealth of work knowledge, influences, experiences, and skills. Some major areas I have experience in include: curating annual budgets and managing financial accounts; small and large-scale event and conference planning, coordination, and execution; programs and training development; HR administration, payroll, and the management of both staff and student staff; implementing training and overseeing volunteers programs; Federal, state, and foundation grant writing and preparation; vendor contracting and management; curating intentional marketing campaigns and media materials; public speaking and presenting; and finally project management. As a results-orientated professional with a 20+ year commitment to meeting the needs of complex, mission-driven organizations and successfully supporting C-Level executives and executive boards. I possess extensive experience in coordinating, planning, and supporting daily operational and administrative functions in highly confidential environments. Well known for sound judgment, clear communication, time management, and collaboration strategies with a standard of leading by example. The multitude of personal and professional experiences I have had in life allows me to find genuine ways to connect, relate, and engage with everyone I meet. At the heart of who I am, acceptance and positive regard are my nature, seeking understanding is my culture, and encouragement is my language.
