Acting as a liaison with Care Centers and Suppliers in the coordination of medical supply purchases within the medical supply formulary. Responds to calls and other inquiries from Care Centers and Suppliers regarding medical supplies. Evaluating clinical and cost-effectiveness and quality of various products and supplies. Excellent customer service skills when responding to questions and other inquiries from internal and external customers. Essential Functions: Primary triage of incoming phone calls for assigned divisions including providing detailed messages to appropriate personnel. Inputs patient messages into Epic for clinic triage. Screens incoming calls, faxes, and correspondences from patient’s families, referring physicians, and laboratories, then route appropriately. Handles new patient referrals and obtains necessary lab work and office notes. Schedules and reschedules patient clinic appointments as needed. Responds to and tracks outside record requests for assigned divisions by printing appropriate records and sending via mail. Ensures this is done in a timely manner, within 24 hours of request. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor. Assumes the duties of the Administrative Services Coordinator when absent.Monitors and orders all office inventories for assigned divisions.
