Odyssey/Gentiva Healthcare is the nation's largest hospice provider. My role in the company was to market hospice services to physicians, hospitals and long term care facilities. I also consulted with patients and families about hospice and helped admit them into the program.

Abeo Medical is a billing and practice management company that offers services to anesthesiologists and hospital billing departments nationwide. My role was to help generate leads for the Division President's and to market the Abeo name to hospitals and physicians nationwide.As of July 31, 2009, my position was "phased out" of the company.

I was the Director of Sales/ Marketing over the Midwest and Southeast Regions. My role was to generate new business prospects in my territory via face to face meetings with hospital administrators, owners of physician groups and clinics. I was responsible for closing new business, negotiating agreements with my company to search for physicians and following through with the search until completion. As a Director, I also trained and managed new marketers and was responsible for weekly sales training's in-house. In 2006, I was named Marketer of the Year and won several Marketer of the Month awards for the highest production.

I was hired into as a clinic marketer to set meetings with physicians and hospital personnel for an outside marketer. In my first five months, I was promoted to a Marketer with my own territory and named Marketer of the month for August 2004. In January 2005, I was promoted to Senior Marketer over my territory in Ohio. My job duties were to set meetings in my territory, meet with administrators face to face and negotiate contracts for our company to provide searches.

I was trained at the Xerox Sales School in Leesburg, VA to consult with businesses on their copier and printer needs and determine the best solution.

I was hired as an account manager and sold paging products and two way devices in the Dallas area. During my tenure, I won numerous contests, including sales person of the month for June 2000. In October 2000, I was promoted to the Strategic Accounts division in Dallas. After a merger with Arch, I was transferred to Austin and promoted to Data Product Manager where I managed a team of sales executives and helped train them in the areas of product knowledge, closing skills and demos. My sales team was in the top 20% in the country for June of 2001. Arch laid off all mid level managers in August of 2001. I took the severance package.

I was responsible for training and leading a team of family mentors. The mentors worked with and counseled families who had child abuse and neglect issues.

I was trained by the State of Texas to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect in Dallas County. In August of 1995, I transferred a special task force within the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, and worked closely with law enforcement and D.A.'s office to prosecute offenders of the most serious child abuse crimes. I was also part of the CPS Speakers Bureau where I trained local teachers, nurses, welfare programs, schools and churches in the areas of child abuse prevention and reporting abuse.
