Designed and managed a maternal and neonatal care program for 80 expecting mothers to decrease birthing complications in the most disadvantaged villages in Guinea.Increased healthy birth count by 41% in rural health centers through prenatal consultations for HIV, syphilis, and malaria for 450 pregnant women. Trained over 275 mothers with children between the age of 6 months to 5 years old on proper preparation of improved porridge and proper weaning to prevent stunting and common diseases.Prevented and managed non-communicable diseases in Oure-Kaba for 95 elementary students by having workshops on nutrition, daily exercise, and ways to combat malnutrition. Performed pre-clinical examinations of vital statistics, such as measuring a patient’s weight, height, temperature, blood pressure, and diagnostics of malaria.Trained 15 local health promoters from different communities that worked together to succeed in reducing childhood marriage, teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections rate through health education, counseling and advocacy.Implemented two 13 weeks Dear Black Girls series program in which 75 adolescent girls learned about girl’s empowerment, self-esteem, and the importance of scholastic achievement, which increased the girls’ academic performance to 35%.Designed and co-facilitated 12 sexual health classes for over 350 middle through high school students. These sexual health classes consisted of pre and post tests to monitor gains in knowledge.
