Develop and implement professional development training programs for professionals in the field of early learning and community services to address employment, positive thinking, and community needs. Establish learning objectives to support needs of target audience. Create effective training materials through various media sources. Write training materials to meet established objectives to include interactive session work, instructor and participant materials, training aids, handouts, application activities, and other required training documentation. Generate and implement training and trainer evaluation processes for continual improvement of trainings and overall program.

Provide families with children in kindergarten to grade three intensive services through ready parents strategy. Create marketing strategies to assist with recruitment of families. Provide monthly parent workshops and follow-up home visits to families with children in kindergarten to grade three. Develop individualized early learning, school, and child transition plans for each student based on the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards and Common Core Standards. Collaborate to expand family support and home visitation to grade three. Create and implement Parent Leadership Institute workshops for parents. Provide the link between teachers, parents, schools, and the community. Design and produce an effective two-way communication system between the home and school. Conduct ongoing assessments of the entire family. Assess the family needs and develop/implement plans to meet those needs and make appropriate referrals.

Voluntarily provide a teen support and mentoring service to at-risk teens out of my home. I plan extra-curricular activities and events for teens to provide them with learning opportunities outside of their normal environments. This organization was responsible for three teens being selected to go to Washington, DC to attend the America's Promise Alliance which is a national campaign to lower the drop out rates in the US. Five teen members of the organization also participated in Stop the Drop which is a state-wide campaign created to lower the drop out rates in the state of Georgia.
