The Software Applications Support Unit (SAS) is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Integrated Pension Administration System (IPAS), the Retired Member System (RMS), Corporate and Plan web sites and services, and the Imaging system as well as a number of other small applications. SAS has primary responsibility for building, enhancing, maintaining, testing, and implementing all changes to these Corporate applications, which run in a mixed environment - Windows XP/Oracle, Linux/Oracle and web-based applications. The Release Manager leads, manages, implements, and coordinates the software application release and deployment processes. This position works directly with IT as well as business staff to ensure software release schedules and application environment usage meet all project needs. The position is frequently called upon to take the lead role to resolve environment usage issues and conflicts.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, QA, Deployment and Middleware, the Quality Assurance Lead will manage and lead a team in the provision of services required for quality assurance of the Pension Corporation’s information systems. As the team lead and senior level specialist, they will provide expertise in the adoption of best practices and establish processes and standards to ensure quality services are delivered in support of the corporate strategy.
