Duties included:• Assessment of nutritional status including calculation and estimation of nutritional requirements (e.g. calories, protein, fluid). and determination of appropriate interventions/recommendations consistent with CMS guidelines and regulations • Coordinate with Food Service Director on complex dietary guidelines as well as meal satisfaction, and accuracy• Analyze and find trends for quality assurance improvement processes including establishment of targets/goals, data trends, aggregate data/reports, and presentation to multidisciplinary team members.• Reviewed and amended policy and procedure for appropriate weight measurement and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and highest quality of care.• Initiate and monitor enteral feeding regimens for residents with dysphagia, poor oral intake, or other illnesses. • Monitor and document nutritional status including laboratory values, intake adequacy, weight trends, and dietary interventions.• Proficient with GeriMenu food service management program, Microsoft Office programs, and SigmaCare electronic medical record system.
