At CellPoint I was involved in creating a one of the first mobile phone LCD repair facilities in the United States, from the ground up. As part of the engineering and management team I determined the necessary machines required to test, rework, and rebuild display panels for Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Note product lines. I was involved in designing ISO class 6, 7, and 8 clean rooms, managing multiple vendors and subcontractors for the cleanroom electrical installation, air lines layout, machine placement, attire, benches, and particle counter. After the construction was complete the real challenges began. I had to find new ways to solve problems on the process yields. Using Six Sigma DMAIC we increased process yield, decreased wasted time and processes, and completed orders on time.I was a major part in the initial certification for ISO 14001, R2, and OSHA.

At Teleplan, I was the Site Engineer, responsible for every engineering project and production line in the building, also offering engineering support to other Teleplan sites domestic and internationally. • Design new production lines from concept to implementation with Lean manufacturing• Created process flow for new projects, determined labor and skillset requirements• Created ISO standard operating procedures, trained operators• Ordered or issued tools and equipment as required, • Maintained calibration and detailed calibration logs of all measurement and test equipment• Repaired production machines and automated test equipment as necessary• OEM Computer Repair lines – OEM repair center for Dell and Gateway Laptops, and HP Desktop computers, maintained 300-500 units production per day, with two day turnaround time• Trained component level techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques, conference calls on root cause analysis with OEMs• Mobile phone repair line – ramped up from concept to 18k units per month in three months, created test plan and maintained wireless test sets, mentored junior engineers• Created scripts in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
