Provided management and oversight of daily Scan Eagle Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) operational requirements and missions with forward-deployed U.S. and Foreign military forces. Coordinated the execution of air and ground contingency operations in dynamic multiple UAV airspace operating environments where de-confliction and Air Traffic Control regulatory and procedural compliance is essential for safe and successful mission execution. Provided direct liaison between UAV operators and intelligence support staff, ensuring targeting, video, and customer support requirements are met. As Mission Coordinator and qualified Scan Eagle UAS operator, I also provided pre-mission briefings to include weather, NOTAMS, SPINS and airspace requirements and mission risk assessments. Norfolk, Virginia Area

 Organized and directed the day to day operations of the Aircraft Carrier Combat Direction Center and the integrated radar and missile defense systems. Managed the training and qualification standards for 80 officer and enlisted personnel.  Provided the Carrier Strike Group with an accurate Air and Maritime Radar and Tactical Data Link picture needed for rapid decision making during combat operations in the Arabian Gulf area of Operations. As the Combat Systems Training Team Leader, I created and managed the sequence of events for ship wide integrated combat and damage control training scenarios.

 Managed internal and external tasks and projects through the administration of the Command Operations and Project Tracking system, ensuring complete accountability in the organization’s workflow process. .  Developed, revised and disseminated joint, service, multi-service, multi-national, and allied doctrine publications.  Managed the revision process for the CVN tactical Manual and Amphibious Air Operations air control Manual using NWDC’s beta version of the Tactics Live collaboration Tool. As the Officer in charge of the Hurricane Sandy Lessons Learned collection team, we researched, developed and published the Defense Support for Civil Authorities Quick Reaction Guide (DSCA QRG).

 Planned, scheduled, and executed all flight operations for 12 helicopters and over 500 squadron staff personnel and students.  Managed over 5,000 allocated flight hours annually and a staff of over 60 Instructor Pilots and Air crewmen.  Administrative officer responsibilities involved the personal and professional development for over 500 squadron personnel which included advancements in rank, re-enlistments and Off-Duty education.  Provided Flight Instruction in the SH-60F and HH-60H helicopter.

Virginia Beach, Va

 Planned, coordinated and managed the command and control, tactical mission planning and coordination of Expeditionary Strike Group air and logistical operations. Planned and drafted the daily flight operations for the USS IWO JIMA Expeditionary Strike Group during the 2006 Mediterranean/CENTCOM deployment and was a key player in the removal of over 15,000 U.S. citizens during the Israeli- Lebanese crisis.  Coordinated ESG air operations with NATO/allied/coalition forces requirements, joint/coalition and naval operations and procedures. Managed the Squadron’s operational, training & readiness requirements for 83 assigned personnel. Provided air operations advice and management to the USS Wasp Exeditionary Strike Group during a multinational South American exercise which included 19 nations. Directed the weapons program and small arms training for 30 members of the Marine Integration Team.

Jacksonville, Florida Area

 Provided tactical flight training and classroom instruction in helicopter tactics, techniques and procedures to Helicopter Anti-submarine Warfare (HS) Squadrons in Combat Search and Rescue, Naval Special Warfare, Anti-Surface Warfare and Anti-Submarine Warfare as well as Aircraft Survivability Equipment and on-board weapons systems.  Planned, executed and performed field exercises designed to test fleet pilots and air crewmen in diverse, emerging and fluid tactical environments in primary mission areas.
