Running the gamut from design and layout, message creation and strategy, collaborating for campaign creation and execution to user interfaces and packaging, I guess you can say I don’t like to be pigeon-holed. I have over 16 years total experience in print and digital campaigns, corporate presentations, paid media and social ads, graphic, package and web design as well as brand development and brand management. Throughout those years, I have worked in a range of environments, from large corporations, non-profits to small startups and understand the pros and cons of each.I also have a strong knowledge of HTML + CSS, including building and maintaining websites, and experience organizing and leading photoshoots ranging from food to product to agriculture equipment. Aside from the technical aspects, I am a strong communicator and will take the time to review my communications with the ear of someone who may not know the whole story to be sure I am clear. Strong interpersonal skills are important for me as well. I have always gotten along with nearly everyone in my offices, from janitors to VPs, and take a lot of pride in that. I love to figure out the creative solution to a problem, whether that is through visuals, words or a combination. I had a fabulous opportunity at my last employer to coach our Social Media Lead in the use of styleguides and basic design principles to help in her journey to become more self-sufficient.
