As the CTO and leader of the Systems team at Braven, I am responsible for leading all technology initiatives at the organization, including Software and Data Engineering, Data Operations, Digital Product Management and Information Technology. First year accomplishments have included building out the full team through hiring key leadership and IC roles, establishing key processes, best practices, and technology infrastructure; creating a data security and governance policy, along with oversight of a data governance council; authorship of an AI use policy and leading the AI strategy for the org; leadership over the design and build of Braven's new student platform from concept to MVP; and implementation of critical information security controls for the organization.

Possessing an abundance of experience building similar successful companies, I served as a strategic advisor for a critically-needed new start-up providing mental wellness coaching designed for schools. My expertise, specifically around tele-therapy product design and go-to-market strategy, helped OpenSeat secure its seed funding, deploy with a number of pilot schools, and reach an excellent position to raise its Series A.

As the founding Chief of the Data and Innovation function at the Noble Charter Network, I built and led a new technology team that supports Noble's 18 campuses, thousands of educators and staff, and 12,000 students using data science and software engineering to create transformative academic experiences at our schools. As a member of the leadership team, I helped create and operationalize numerous initiatives including Noble's antiracist commitment, which reformed and reimagined a number of academic policies, as well as all the systems required to support remote learning during the pandemic.Noble is Chicago's largest Charter Network, serving a student population that is 98% minority and 89% low-income. As Regroup's CTO, I oversaw all aspects of our technology operations from internal tools and systems to development and deployment of the company's HIPAA-compliant telehealth product platform.Regroup recently combined with Insight to become the largest telepsychiatry provider in the United States.
