    Formerly known as Taking Back Lives, Ripple Africa is a non-profit that builds schools in Malawi Africa. Having been involved from a young age, this organization has greatly shaped who I am today. It has encouraged me to pursue graphic design through the designing of t-shirts, flyers, and even their website. I served on the board of directors when I turned the minimum legal age of 15.A benefit concert organized by Taking Back Lives benefiting the building of school in Malawi, Africa, as well as other local charities in the Manatee Sarasota area. I organized several of these events, culminating in an event I planned independently. I was responsible for creating the website, creating the online ticket sales system, secure bands, and take care of most of the logistics for the event. On Saturday, June 21, 2014, nearly 100 youth gathered at the Coffee Loft to perform, volunteer, or simply listen to music in the name of charity. The event raised nearly $1,000 to be split between Ripple Africa and Honor Animal Rescue.
