Worked for a non-profit entity focused on transforming the current food system into one that is more just and community engaged. Led a crew of 11 youth and educated them on sustainable farming practices, issues related to food insecurity, and ways that they can make a positive impact in the space. Completed farm work and helped facilitate workshops directed towards educating the youth and developing them into well rounded individuals.

Researched potential uses for a plot of vacant land in Sister Bay, WI, with the aim of creating a development that positively impacts the environment. After finding a plot, connecting with contractors, and doing extensive research, my boss and I came to the conclusion that creating a recreational area that utilizes agroforestry practices would benefit both the environment and the community the most. The project has been completed and continues to be a positive addition to the area.
