A new Chicago startup, Satsang, provides Artficial Intelligence/ Machine Learning strategy and consulting services,and develops proof-of-concept solutions.

Launched and manage Morganacity, an art production company that will support multi-media works by women of color. Currently in planning, funding, and brand development stages.• Developed the concept and business model as a Fellow at Turn the Spotlight, which provides mentoring by leaders in the arts. • Designed and led 20 pitches to opera/orchestra companies.• Obtained an LLC designation, and am currently preparing to copyright creative materials. • Developed a hybrid performance piece/business plan (Story of Us) that combines opera, orchestra, and ballet to advocate for a new type of storytelling through short films that can be experienced in live performance or online. • Collaborated with artists across genres to create a platform for different voices and modes for storytelling. • Currently producing a graphic novel that is being funded through Kickstarter. • Demonstrated the leadership skills needed to move from concept to product while maintaining high standards for creative quality.

In addition to performing, developed creative management and production skills. Participated in several workshops and table readings. Engaged with creators/artists to discuss the work’s flow and structure.

Wrote, produced, and directed a one-performer musical show on the power of music to provide therapy for people with Alzheimer’s. Wrote and was awarded grants, including a Lab Grant from the Boston Foundation and a grant from the New England Conservatory’s Entrepreneurship Department. Recruited Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, an expert in Alzheimer’s research, to deliver a pre-show audience educational session. Performed content research to make the production relevant and compelling. Managed digital marketing by analyzing SEO/demographic data. Networked to promote and obtain support for the production. Obtained rights to use music from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). • Wrote a play that could be adapted for different audiences/generations. • Demonstrated the leadership ability/skill needed to pitch and direct creative projects from concept through product. • Gained a holistic understanding of production by performing a range of duties from staging/lighting to marketing/branding. • Promoted the production in media appearances, including Cure Alzheimer’s Fund and several local newspapers. • Wrote an article in Huffpost, “Entrepreneurship: Is It Worth the Risk?” based on my experience creating this production. • Selected to be on the grant cycle panel for New England Conservatory’s Entrepreneurship Department.
