Member of the 2021 Biostatistics Epidemiology Summer Training (BEST) Program. Participated in an introduction to biostatistics and introduction to R programming courses. Worked on a research project under Dr. Jeff Goldsmith where I analyzed a dataset with over 14 million observations in R to determine trends in the activity level of patients. This analysis included creating plots and running statistical tests. At the conclusion of the program, the research conducted was presented at a final symposium.

Shadowed providers during clinic days. Witnessed preliminary and post-surgery appointments, medical injections, and casting. Conducted research on active studies led by Dr. Tim Johnson and Dr. David Johnson. Worked on analyzing data of knee tendon injuries and patient recovery time post-surgery.
