I was in charge of planning all of our college ministry events. Events ranged from participants of 10 lead team members to 1000+ students. I built and led a team of 3 girls to plan pre-service functions, after parties, and catering. Planning typically ranged anywhere from one week to 4 months out. I coordinated 25-100 volunteers at a time to execute each event. We hosted events at our church building, the Auburn Basketball Arena, the Auburn Hotel, and occasionally other local venues.

I assisted the director in managing a student ministry of approximately 1000 students ranging from middle school to college age, in addition to implementing new family-oriented program vision. Scheduling, event planning, and team development are some of the areas where my creative brain flourished. I learned that I thrive in a fast-paced environment working with people and solving problems.

I was also responsible for the sale of all memberships and directing other membership staff to ensure quality customer care through recognizing unspoken social cues and adapting countenance to best serve members and guests while upholding organizational values.
