Position involves updating and managing social media platforms used by The Delmar Loop such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr, Tumblr, YouTube, blog, and e-newsletters. Additional planning of Loop events and contacting businesses in the Loop is involved in the position.

Position involves creating and implementing material for the Chamber in marketing the organization: newsletters, invitations, flyers, programs, sponsor letters, and press releases. Additional duties include the organization, set up, and attendance of the Chamber’s monthly networking events and annual signature event.

Art Heals: Restoring Joy to Joplin, a summer long initiative to restore art classrooms in Irving and Emerson Elementary Schools with art supplies for the upcoming school year lost due to the devastating tornado in Joplin, MO in May 2011. Work included: Researching, contacting Joplin Schools, communicating with local St. Louis businesses regarding donations, drafting press releases, creating donations lists, and organizing donations for the final delivery to Joplin, MO.
