My responsibilities as a business owner is; Creating business plans, arranging financing, hiring staff, reviewing sales, developing marketing strategies, overseeing daily activities, and identifying business opportunities. Complete all bookkeeping and accounting services including: A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger postings, invoicing, taxation issues, and regulatory compliance guidelines. Build and manage the company’s website and social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ad Words, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant. Assisting in developing proposals and bids for potential clients.

GPS is a combination of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement to drive out losses by reducing downtime, maximizing profits, and eliminating waste. I have led the implementation of GPS by ensuring all employees were educated with the tools and knowledge needed to improve and sustain a zero loss work culture that drives out injuries and ensures products are safe and meet quality specifications.

Responsible for training new and current employees in a variety of areas as necessary, oversee new hire orientation including informing them of safety and quality regulations, responsible for initial interviews of plant employees and managing applications and internal job bids, maintain documentation of employee certifications and all information necessary for orientation, SOP’s, SWI’s, and other documentation and other duties as assigned.

Assisted with implementing the Glanbia Performance System and tools at the Richfield Plant. Fully understand the 7 key performance indicators, OEE and loss buckets and other GPS modules and terms. Arranging the GPS boot camps and report outs by scheduling the site, obtaining the necessary materials, organizing and informing all attendees, and presenting material.

Creating, managing, and maintaining the Safe Quality Food Documentation Register and the Lock Out Tag Out Register. Completing, editing, standardizing, and making changes to documentation, supporting the team facilitator with training and other day-to-day tasks, updating and filing paperwork, and training out new procedures to operators.
