Raised in Davenport, Iowa and recently graduated from the University of Iowa. Studying psychology for three years, I eventually helped to inspire a degree program called Human Services. As a lifetime advocate for mental health, my coursework focused on social work and counseling. I found a passion for philanthropy and fundraising my final year as a Hawkeye and earned a certificate. After working in Iowa City with adults with a major mental illness and spending six months in Central America, I am currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work degree at Arizona State University.
