I commenced my time at Bennett Partners in 2009 and enjoy assisting clients daily with their accounting needs. Having a large amount of client contact allows relationships to form, assisting clients with a range of maters such as establishing client accounts, installation of computer assisted accounting packages etc creates the opportunity to engage, tailoring a small business solution to their exact needs.Being an accredited / certified member of MYOB; XERO and Reckon / Qbooks one of my key areas is training clients on these packages to streamline their accounts and reduce time. From there as well I am happy to assist clients on the day to day compliance, processing of accounts, financials and tax returns.Again being passionate about small business and improving client accounts.

The key responsibilities within in my role here at Magpies included the day to day operation once again; Rotation of staff; overseeing staff to manage effective KPI's; management of cashflow and restocking of tills/cash counts including gaming; Management of functions, review of costings and reporting.Adding again further experience to my skill set.

I had the opportunity of completing the day to day operations of running the club, gaining valuable skills in respect to: HR - Rostering of staff; Payroll; Bank reconciliations; Cash management; Stock management; Gaming, Keno & TAB; Conflict resolution and complaint registration and management of club.Further requirements included financial control measures for the Club and subsidiaries via MYOB; liaising with the auditor etc.Throughout my time I took the opportunity to increase my skills, in particular the above key areas gaining much needed experience which has been valuable to assist future clients.This included obtaining my Cert IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management.
