I am a senior at HU majoring in Biology with a premed concentration. I am well rounded in academic and leadership experiences, and received my AAPC medical terminology and anatomy certification in 2020. I have since gained research and clinical experience shadowing at a private Pediatric practice office, the UMass Chan summer (SEP) enrichment program and my former position at HU interning in the Governemental Relations office. I worked in partnership with The Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute and politicians in VA to promote and analyze the utilization of PT not only for Hampton Roads, but for the entire United States. I have volunteered in clinical settings where I administered various COVID-19 tests during my freshman and sophomore year at Hampton University through a medical organization, MAPS, which involved the entire student body and faculty members.
