They’ve been expanding their facilities and brought me in to help work on their expansion plans, refine their internal processes and improve their digital presence. I’ve done this by analyzing how they work, working closely with internal staff and then recommending improved procedures. This led to my recommending and implementing a CRM for the company.My biggest challenge is getting the buy-in from employees, but utilizing my teaching experience, I’ve been able to sell them on the improvements. Already, they’re more efficient and the expansion is ongoing.For the website, I analyzed the traffic, worked closely with the salesmen, and built a new strategy around targeting their clients. Then I developed wireframes, designs, tweaked the content and showed how it would all work together to send a cohesive message.

Each website was a different client, with different executives invested in its success, different goals and unique ways of operating. This forced me to stay nimble and refine the way I operate -- which was fantastic, because I'm always looking for ways to improve.Getting everyone on the same page was an adventure, but I've found that with straightforward communication and clear instructions, I could keep all of the different projects progressing smoothly. As an English teacher, I loved the challenge of teaching predominantly ESL students. It forced me to reevaluate my teaching methods, made me think about new and creative ways to dissect education into exciting and fun methods and helped me grow personally and professionally. While there, I was also the head coach of the soccer team (soccer is a lifelong passion of mine and I'm a nationally licensed coach).
