I am a first year clinical exercise physiology student at Griffith University, highly fascinated by the body and its numerous functions. I have had a passion for the sporting industry, particularly running, from a very young age and competed at a national level in this sporting feild. This passion has intrigued me to enrol in a degree which allows my knowledge on how the human body functions on a daily basis to grow and the implications which may arise due to varying factors. I thoroughly enjoy the world of sports science and am particularly interested in injury prevention/rehabilitation, biomechanics and sports medicine. As an aspiring physiotherapist, I strive to take every opportunity I can to enhance my knowledge in the health/sporting field hence for the recent certification of a level 2 recreational running coach. This has further fostered a strong passion for helping others to succeed and allowed me to develop a sense of community as well as skills in leadership. I am led to believe I have much to offer the community in return for the positive experiences it has provided me over the years.
