Dr. Sowell served as an itinerant Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology for the district. She serviced elementary, middle, and high schools. Throughout her time she lead interdisciplinary special education evaluations for children with emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns. She worked as part of campus-based Autism assessment teams for identification and evaluation for Autism. Dr. Sowell worked collaboratively with school staff, district administration, advocates, and families to identify and develop appropriate programming that results in measurable and appropriate growth. Dr. Sowell worked directly with the students and individuals at the United State Agricultural Department and State Department.
