Training and maintaining the standard of patrol explosives K9 as per United States Department of Defence requirements. Handler provides safety and security to US Military FOB's in Afghanistan by aid of Patrol Explosive Detection Dog. Search vehicles, parcels at entry and exists points, do sweeps and clearing of buildings as well as open areas as requested by the military. Training PEDD on a daily basis and ensure PEDD's health by administering health checks and medication. Doing patrols with military to secure perimeter and assets on the FOB. Do health and welfare operations at various points on FOB.

Perform crime prevention duties and patrolling of different areas as prescribed per standing orders. Taking responsibility of the holding cells where accused are being kept before first court appearance. Hold the position of Complaints service centre commander and seeing to the management of patrol cars and helping the public with their complaints. Holding the position of court orderly and ensure the safety of all court personnel and making sure the safekeeping of prisoners. Transporting of prisoners to and from courts as well as the different prisons. Recordkeeping of all prisoners to and from courts and on-route to different prisons. Holding the position of K9-handler and maintain the canine as prescribed by standing orders. Arrest suspects with the help of canine and giving evidence in a court of law bringing the perpetrators thereof to justice. Doing explosive searches with the canine as prescribed by standing orders. Maintaining all the relevant resources needed by the service in the fight against crime.

Did the installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunicationsequipment, such as telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipment, inhomes, businesses, telephone exchanges and other network sites.
