Command a Recruiting Center comprised of 20 recruiters, three offices in three separate cities and 10 US government vehicles. Contact individuals and conduct interviews with prospective enlistees into the US Army. Build relationships with faculty and staff in 60 high schools and 6 colleges and universities, as well as community leaders in many cities within 4 counties. Write, edit and present recruiting material for dissemination in local communities, secondary and post secondary schools. Required to interview and counsel individuals on enlistment incentives, Army benefits, and educational opportunities; evaluate applicants using screening tests; prepare forms and documents as part of enlistment processing; counsel disqualified applicants and assist in market research and analysis of recruiting area. Maintain records, statistics, administrative files and a publications library. Supervise and evaluate 20 subordinates and conduct professional development programs to increase organizational effectiveness. Delegate duties, supervise resources, plan and organize recruitment programs; provides guidance to soldiers and evaluates their progress.
