I was responsible for teaching a weekly 50-minute discussion class of 20 freshmen, proctoring and grading all tests and papers, corresponding via email and one-on-one meetings, holding office hours, meeting with students and other TAs, attending and keeping notes for two weekly lectures, etc. I also wrote exam questions and collaborated on essay assignment.

Over my four years at Millsaps College, I served on The Purple and White newspaper staff in a huge variety of positions, allowing me to be involved in almost every aspect of the paper at some point. I also wrote between one and three articles nearly every week, edited up to 20 articles a week as Copy Editor and Managing Editor, generated story ideas, took.

I was responsible for organizing, uploading and editing 300+ entries (text and photos) for the 2009 wedding registry. I also wrote text for articles, including “Best of Mississippi” and calendar, assisted with organizing and executing photo shoots, and edited copy and conducted research for articles.
