I am the global lead for the Accenture Ecosystem Solution Architect group. We evaluate the offerings from the full breadth of Accenture’s Ecosystem of partners and make recommendations to our clients to their suitability to meet both technical and functional requirements. We are responsible for the evaluation and selection process and subsequent design of these products into wider environment designs and project implementation plans.My role requires me to work across both business and functional teams across many organisational levels and require me to change between roles to design solutions appropriately. Considering not only business and technical requirements but also balancing technical requirements with commercial insights and managing risk appropriately.Recent roles have included; setting the technology strategy direction and standards for clients, driving the adoption of Robotics across our European practice, demonstrating the business drivers for the adoption of hyper-convergence solutions and containerised solution design, and making recommendations on hybrid-cloud operations blending the best of public and private cloud technologies to drive change. My deepest industry focus is into financial services, particularly insurance and banking, but I have good experience across industry sectors and am regularly invited to act as a technology SME across our clients.
