Develop training materials for the development of a greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory for the Land Use Land Use Change and Forestry sector (LULUCF) sectors. These technical materials will support governments (federal entities and/or municipalities) in the elaboration or update of their GHG emission inventories, considering the 2006 IPCC Guidelines and 2019 IPCC refinement.

After working for MGM Innova fulltime, I returned as external consultant for the following projects:(2020) Technical advice for the development of compensation protocols in the livestock sector, for Carbon Trust and PMR-Semarnat, where I acted as analyst supporting the senior consultants, deivered presentations and drafted some parts of the report.(2019 - 2021) Mechanism to collect activity data for the GHG inventory in the agricultural, aquaculture and fishing sector, for the Agriculture Ministry and GIZ in Mexico. This project consisted of two phases; in the second one we apdated the collecting data to align to the IPPC methodology 2019.(2019) Co-benefits analysis for the joint implementation of SDG and Paris Agendas in Honduras, for GIZ and the Ministry of Environment.(2017) Co-benefits analysis for the joint implementation of SDG and Paris Agendas in Mexico, for GIZ and the Presidencial Office.

Briefly worked for Carbon Trust as they needed urgent help for delivering some speficic tasks within a project. The project was "PMR Latin America: Work program development for regional collaboration on National Carbon Footprint Programs", where I mainly collaborated researching and drafting the international revision on GHG management voluntary initiatives outside the LAC region.

Taught a short course on Circular Economy in the agriculture sector for university students. Topics covered included: introduction to sustainability science, tools for system analysis, design approaches, case studies and reflexions on how to scalate circular economy.

Participated in two projects assiting the mexican government:> CONUEE - Energy Efficiency Voluntary Agreements between Energy Ministry and Large energy intensive Mexican industries, for wich I acted as assistant consultant to the energy efficiency specialists managing communication with industries, keeping record of progress regarding paperwork and translating during site visits when needed. I also drafted a technical report compiling learnt lessons from site visits.> SEMARNAT - Development of implementation routes of energy-related NDC measures. In team with other two consultants, we developed four routes. I designed two concernig the use of efficient showers and water heaters, and the improvement of waste water tretament plants. We designed and used a methodology based on interviews to stakeholders taking inspiration from backcasting.

Collaborated in the qualitative evaluation of the perception on the North American Development Bank performance. Following the lead consultant specialized in public´s perception and surveying, I interviewed a bunch of stakeholders from NGOs concerned with environmental and health issues, public servants and private company managers from both sides of the border between Mexico and the US in order to understand what is it that the NADB has done well and where the areas for improvement are. We used network and word analysis software for delivering the evaluation.

In the short time I collaborated at ASEA as public servant in the mexican governmet, I developed and proposed an environmental indicator set for evaluating the oil industries SASISOPA´s performance. SASISOPA stands for Industrial Safety, Operational Safety and Environmental Protection Administration System. I rapidly left ASEA because the oil and gas sector, as much as interesting it can be, is not my thing. I needed to go back to the so called green agenda.

Supported the campaign on nixtamalized tortilla in Mexico "Yo quiero tortilla nixtamalizada" while cordinating the working group named "Alianza por Nuestra Tortilla". Drafted notes on the impact of glyphosate found in tortilla, drafted the texts published on the OCA's blog in spanish and responded to some interviews on the matter.

During my time as full time consultant for CMM, I worked in a bunch of projects related to air quality and climate change:> Climate change program of the state of Oaxaca: prepared the inventory of the agriculture and livestock sectors, and estimated the mitigation potential of the selected actions.> Climate change mitigation policies for Agriculture and Forestry sectors. Estimated the mitigation potential of agriculture and livestock actions. For this one I had the lifetime opportunity of discussing if carbon sequestration in soils and biomass should be reported as mitigation with Dr. Molina. This was way before nature-based solutions were fully recognized as they are today.> Guidebook for designing local climate change programs: drafted a couple of chapters.> Improved management of air quality in Mexico evaluation report: participaded in methodological design for analysis, conducted interviews and started drafting the report.
