Provided Operational management in high risk locations. Managed international security teams protecting client vessels. Service provision was 'in theatre and onboard the vessels'. Responsible for operations management and planning, client liaison, crisis prevention and response, vessel security, team training, client training, security briefings and threat assessments.

Contracted as a specialist instructor assisting businesses to identify, prevent or mitigate Drug, Alcohol and workplace safety issues.I provided NZQA level instruction to a wide range of companies and delivered both management and employee training programmes designed to raise awareness and mitigate risk.

16 years in the NZ Police. 7 years uniformed officer and 9 years as a Detective in the CIB.Concurrently during my 16 years career I was a member of the Armed Offenders Squad 11 years (SWAT equivalent), Anti Terrorist Squad / Special Tactics Group 9 years (police counter terrorist team) and the VIP Protection Squad for 3 years. The latter involved providing personal protection and planning (to Diplomatic standard) for 2 NZ Prime Ministers and many foreign Heads of State.While in the police I received training in basic police duties, investigating serious crime, counter terrorism response, explosives handling and use for hostage rescue, hostage rescue, counter kidnapping, VIP Protection, security event management, risk assessments, threat assessment, intelligence collation and security planning to cover the main skills.
