• Providing legal guidance to all business units in MetLife Egypt and the Levant Countries.• Closely coordinating with the local and regional (as well as home office when required) compliance functions on all legal-related matters.• Negotiating, analyzing, drafting, reviewing, and interpreting various legal documents.• Advising on and implementing legal processes and procedures to be undertaken by all departments. • Instructing external counsel to advise and/or act on behalf of the company on any given legal matter as well as following up with regards to the same and managing the relationship.• Providing corporate secretarial services to the company when required including the revision and drafting of various procedural documents such as legalizations, powers of attorney…etc.• Interacting with government departments and agencies on various regulatory matters such as proposed laws, regulations, and government policies in a variety of areas such as insurance, tax where applicable, labor, corporate, etc.• Liaising with ministries, courts, and members of the legal profession on all matters related to the company’s legal affairs.• Assists in the revision and amendment of the company’s policies and procedures.• Ensure on a constant basis that all related laws and regulations are fully adhered to by the Company.

- Reporting and documentation.- Prepare periodic legal reports to update clients on the status of pending matters.- Advises national and international clients in the area of corporate law including company incorporation, ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies.- Carry out legal researches on Labour, Civil, Commercial, Investment and Corporate Law.
