My current role is as a Senior Systems Engineer with Harmonics Consulting supporting the messaging environment for the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB). Currently a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) with plans on becoming an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in the near future. I am responsible for all aspects of email flow which includes Cisco Email Security Appliances (ESA; IronPort), ZixGateway, and Microsoft Exchange. My work also includes the Microsoft Lync messaging service. As an engineer, I am involved in solving complex environmental issues as well as researching and testing new implementations. I am also a support agent working with users to better the user experience. Powershell scripting is a part of my daily activities and many team members reach out asking for assistance.Within three months as a messaging operations team member, I was promoted to a Microsoft Exchange Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). My main objective is providing in depth knowledge and troubleshooting procedures for the team. Responsible for migrating the current environment from Microsoft Exchange 2007 to 2010, I was also the technical lead for obtaining transport layer security. While a Network Administrator at the Scientific Consulting Group, my responsibilities was to provide all software, hardware and network support. The director of IT and I worked as a team to achieve business goals. This experience provided a background of an enterprise network from close interaction with users to contacting vendors and technical support along with building and configuring network infrastructure. I was involved with upgrading and replacing servers, routers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
