At the iDE Innovation Lab, the GESI Focal Point is integral to the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach, ensuring that gender equality and social inclusion are at the core of every project. This role involves integrating GESI principles into all HCD processes, empowering women and marginalized groups as key stakeholders. Through comprehensive gender assessments, staff training, and diligent monitoring, the GESI Focal Point ensures that inclusive ideals are realized in design and implementation. By conducting these assessments and other essential activities, this role fosters a community where everyone has equitable access to resources and opportunities, enhancing the impact and sustainability of HCD initiatives.

• Manage and support the project goals, scope, timelines, budgets, design research activities and tools. • Manage and support projects and the related design research activities, such as field research planning and execution, development of research guidelines, adaptation of research methods to local context, photography, design of prototypes and execution of prototype user tests.• Undertake extensive field research and field testing to inform project strategy and prototype development.• Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions and project meetings with clients, working groups and sector experts.• Design tailored workshops and boot camps for local NGOs• Lead gender working group within iDE Cambodia, and a part of iDE Global Gender and Social Inclusion initiatives. • Create digital design, artworks, frameworks, and all type of visual communication materials. • Design prototype, rapid testing plan, and materials
