As a Comcast contractor, I worked closely with the regional construction teams and Public Utilities Districts to facilitate the build out of new construction projects and Local Improvement Districts. Selected Contributions:- Coordinate with City and County officials, Comcast construction personnel, as well as Builders and Developers for the construction of Comcast Cable Television Network Systems.- Schedule network construction in association with new residential and commercial developments, network maintenance, and network system upgrades.- Supervision of underground and aerial in-house and contract construction crews.- Preparation of project cost estimates and submissions to Comcast for funding approval.- Responsible for individual project and overall profit and loss.

As part of the Upgrade Construction department, my main role was to oversee contractors for the upgrade of the cable systems from Kirkland to the Canadian border. Eventually, we were successful enough and came in ahead of schedule we worked ourselves out of our jobs. The result is a robust telecommunications network with the capabilities of offering the most advanced services in the industry. Selected Contributions:- Strategize with Regional Network Performance Manager, Project Managers, Construction Coordinators as well as city officials on Cable Television network upgrade for King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties for advanced video, data and voice services.- Schedule network construction and manage a five year telecommunications construction project, exceeding 500 million dollars, to meet company goals on time and on budget to deliver upgraded infrastructure for advanced services such as Video On Demand, High Speed internet service, and VoIP services.- Approval and tracking of capital expenditures in relation to contract labor with direct responsibility over accounts exceeding one million dollars.- Field engineering of network infrastructure to verify existing and new design.- Perform network design in accordance with company and industry standards to integrate legacy architecture into upgraded network architecture.

I began my telecommunications career for this local cable company as an auditor and worked my way up through the ranks as an Installer, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Headend Technician and to a Technical Operations Supervisor. I learned a great deal here and performed numerous duties over the years.
