High School Science Teacher
CurrentResponsibilities ● STEM Integration: Facilitate the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) principles into the classroom, promoting interdisciplinary learning and preparing students for higher education and future careers.● Innovative Instruction: Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction using a variety of teaching methods, including project-based learning, laboratory experiments, and technology-enhanced lessons, to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.● Assessment & Evaluation: Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure academic success.● Student Support: Mentor and support students in their academic and personal growth, offering guidance on career pathways in science and technology fields, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.● Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to develop cross-curricular projects, participate in school committees, and contribute to the Institute’s vision of excellence in applied technology education.● Community Engagement: Actively participate in community outreach programs, science fairs, and other extracurricular activities to inspire student interest in science and technology, and to strengthen the school’s connection with the local community.● Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed during laboratory activities and that students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences.● Data-Driven Instruction: Utilize student performance data to inform instructional decisions, identify areas for improvement, and implement targeted interventions to enhance student outcomes.
