Completed construction of Carrapateena Copper Mine. Achievements: Developed and rolled out the workpack procedure and structure, implemented the field change and defected recovery process (enabling recovery of +$2mill in rectification), developed project ITP's and Check Sheet and created automated check sheet generation process. Deliverable Scope: End to end buried services packages, 5x conveyors, re-claim chamber, pebble crusher, and 12km tailings pipeline.In addition to my base duties, I was R&R cover for the Lead Engineering, managing a multi-discipline team of 14 engineers, I was also acting Quality Manager for a few months while a permanent manager was sought.

Responsibilities Overview: • Full SMP Material Take Off, rationalised and sanitised based on design progress • Full bottom-up estimate of piping commodities and hours • Full estimate and re-baseline of project hours, based raw quantity exports and MTO's • Compare and report 'As Sold' vs 'Re-Baselined' hours and quantities • Package and generate scope of works and tender documents for subcontacts • Provide constructability and fabrication input

Completed a contract with CIVMEC's Fabrication and Logistics workshop, primarily servicing Ichthys LNG. Contract value $15mill. Saw out the completion of the primary scope which included spool fabrication and painting. Tasks; Material take-off, material requisition, purchasing, workpacking, scheduling. Managed; Progress and reporting, information/workflow management, team integration, quality assurance, as-builts, MDR consolidation.At peak, fab yard processed +500 Dia of small bore spool spools a week, in addition to other miscellaneous tasks fabrication and logistics tasks.

Completed a position on the main mechanical contract (MEC-1) on Ichthys LNG, including construction of the inlet facilities and the two processing trains. Contract value of $1.4Bill.Achievements: Sole engineer in dedicated cost plus site instruction team. Supported 100 directs, 8 indirects, at a value of ~$750K a week. Successfully close out over 300 individual site instructions.I also successfully oversaw the testing and commissioning of all permanent cranes across a site; 10x Gantry cranes, 38x monorails, 18x jib cranes (MRC 500kgs - 90T).Responsibilities Overview:• Sole engineer in SMP site instruction team (100 person)• Manage testing of all permanent cranes on site• Oversee the completion and closeout of structural items• Plan and facilitate grouting of equipment and structures on site• Compile and maintain work method statements • Facilitate commissioning and quality verification• Plan and coordinate work between various parties• Report progress and hours; burnt, earnt, forecast and performance factored forecast• Read and understand project contract and scope of work• Monitor and manage change and variations• Resolve and close out technical non-conformances• Aid commercial team with technical input required for change management, contractual disputes.• Review project schedule and assist with feedback on construction progress.

Ichthys Lng Plant Darwin

During this internship, I held a number of positions and completed two onsite rotations to Ichthys LNG - Onshore Construction Project.The first rotation was a 2-month deployment with the main civil underground cable package (CVL-3), contract $350mill.The second deployment was a 4-month rotation in the module team, on the main mechanical contract (MEC-1), Contract value $750mill.In these roles, I successfully oversaw the planning, preparation of numerous workpacks, trenching excavations, cable pulls, and the landing of 5 equipment modules (800T - 4,000T).
