Senior Product Manufacturing Specialist
CurrentProvide engineering support for the resolution of hardware problems, introduction of new products to selected contracts manufacturers (CMs), product maintenance, CM transitions. Close working relationship with contract manufacturers, R&D teams and operational team members.o Investigate and drive the resolution of customer and CM reported hardware problems.o Evaluate & approve alternate component due to obsolescence, dual sourcing and cost reduction.o Generate Bill of Material (BOM), capture change definition, perform BOM maintenance and release to the CM/Repair facilities in an efficient, cost effective manner. o Monitor, audit the quality of products manufactured by our Contract Manufacturerso Manage the Contract Manufacturers to effectively analyze, identify and resolve technical issues in the manufacturing process. Interface with R&D teams, as necessary, to escalate technical issues for resolution.o Stay abreast of new manufacturing processes and technologies to continuously improve product quality and resilience.o Team lead, responsible for setting department goals and objectives including scheduling and prioritizing workload.
