Years ago, I developed a sport sandal brand with a pronounced footbed contour and a simple, functional design (Chaco Z/1). It developed a cult-like following due to its aggressive arch support and durable construction. The original Z/1 design is still selling well today, decades later.Fast forward to 2015. Working to develop footbeds for a new line of shoes, I came up with a new insole concept to better deliver comfort and performance. The same “can’t live without them” feeling, now available for all the shoes in your closet.2022 finds me back to my roots, with a new collection of sandals that brings together everything I have learned in my footwear career. Recruited as an outside project manager to work on new innovation to increase exposure of the Vibram brand to new and existing customers. Tasked with showcasing Vibram’s ability to innovate in ways that are relevant to today’s consumers. Developed a new way to construct footwear based on outsole innovation. Coordinated with Vibram business units in Italy, China and the US. Managed outside vendors as well as internal resources. Vibram's dedication to quality and innovation is evident in every aspect of the business. Final product, footwear partners and strategic partnerships all exhibit the drive for performance.
