Rio De Janeiro Area, Brazil

 Responsible for company financial results (P&L). Administrated US$300Mi umbilical contracts in different projects from Petrobras for manufacturing the first umbilicals for the pre-salt fields; Responsible for 350 employees and more than 100 subcontractors; Renegotiated old contracts in order to finalize projects and open opportunities for new profitable projects, focusing on implementation and execution; Implemented projects controls, KPI´s, stage gates, change of management, monthly reviews in order to guarantee financial performance against budget and mitigate risks.  Reduced manufacturing cost of poor quality in $ 2Mi, increasing production capacity; Guided the approval and the qualification program for the new pre salt umbilicals sections that were used as benchmark by Petrobras. Restructured the business strategy to realign to difficult Oil and Gas market challenges; Participated on the green belt course to implement and coordinated different improvement projects; Increased plant capacity from 70 Km/year (umbilical) to 300km/year, improving OEE in several production areas, with high focus on people and safety;
