I graduated from FAU in May 2013. I received my BS in Business Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship and a Minor in Finance. I worked in Finance for 6 years. Over those years, I gained excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing me to relate with people at all levels. When I started at SecureVest, I worked in a managerial position in Operations where I expended my leadership skills and strengthened my management skills. After graduation, I started studying for the Series 7 exam. I passed in Oct 2013 and became a Fixed Income trader.I was able to prove my ability to excel in my courses at FAU, while working at SV & actively volunteering with the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation. I also, volunteered and worked closely with Lockheed Martin my last semester at FAU. During that time my function was to assist Lockheed Martin in generating new markets, which would enable the sale of their obstacle avoidance system.After several years in the Finance industry I decided I needed a change. That's when I transitioned to Weatherby Healthcare. At Weatherby, I started as a Consultant for the OB/GYN department. Here, I felt that I would be able to fulfill my need for helping others, though it was an indirect way of doing so. I matched physicians with opportunities all over the Country, most of which were understaffed and desperately in need of assistance in their facility. I then moved to the Licensing Department where I was able to help the physicians apply for Medical Licenses in the states that they were scheduled to work in.After almost 2 years at WBY, I received the opportunity to be the Senior Executive Assistant for the Vice President of Advertising Sales at Sun Sentinel & later offered a position as the Financial Analyst for the Advertising department.I believe I have several qualities that will enable me to reach my goals both immediate & future. I am eager to learn as much as I can. I am an enthusiastic and hardworking team player. I always strive to do my best in order to gain the experience required to succeed in my career.
