- Develop the product strategy in-line with Qilimanjaro's vision.- Devise technological roadmaps aligned with the product strategy and the capabilities of the Engineering and Scientific teams. - Work cross-functionally with Business Development and Operations teams.- Understand customer needs for the development of our different products.

- Leading the Theory and Applications team (~10 researchers) in a full-stack quantum computing start-up dedicated to the development of superconducting based analog quantum devices, quantum algorithms and its associated control and access software stack.- Provide support from the theoretical side in directing the company's co-design efforts to build app-specific quantum devices with the aim of maximising its potential quantum advantage.- Interact and work with clients to identify and understand the relevant industry use-cases and develop tailored PoCs to their specific needs. - Supervision of industrial PhD students and MSc students as well as managing all the individual and team projects.- Communicating the mission, showcasing the company as a whole and presenting the technical work to both business and academic audiences.- Applying for public funding and private investment, writing project proposals, plan deliverables, budgets, technical roadmaps and strategic partnerships.- Recruitment of technical profiles

- Development new optimization methods for compiling quantum algorithms in large-scale fault-tolerant quantum computer architectures.- Study and applications of many-body systems for quantum simulation in NISQ devices.- Introducing novel machine learning methods for quantum computing using ideas from many-body physics.

- Study of the dynamics of spin systems for quantum information applications.- Co-supervision of BSc, MSc and PhD students.

- Investigation of theoretical models consisting on series of coupled qubits, spin chains, that allow for the manipulation of quantum information engineered as both linear chains and network systems.- Detailed analysis of the robustness and dynamics of several of these set ups designed for different purposes: state localisation, quantum state transfer, quantum state distribution and entanglement generation.
