Here at Imenco I'm the product line manager for our NASNet® product range. NASNet® is our LBL (long baseline) subsea positioning system, providing commercial and operational efficiencies through:Reduced seabed assets typical ratio 1:5 - reduces costs as less vessel time is required to install and calibrate seabed stations due to the reduction in seabed assets.Due to the long ranges achievable with NASNet® the stations are able to be placed on a busy seabed allowing full area tracking without the problem of interfering with already installed field infrastructure.A station battery life of up to four years, resulting in no LBL battery changes so no vessel costs incurredOne-way broadcast, similar to GPS, providing fast reliable updates.
