This opportunity with UnitedHealth Group, near Minneapolis, afforded me a chance to get more intimate with Cocoa, while leveraging my experience with Unix and process automation. We implemented applications and practices to reduce communication lags and "fat finger" errors, and to better quantify and capture metrics across our work loads. I noticed again the priority that the company places on open and two-way communication across departmental bounds and greatly appreciated the benefits this brought to our projects.
