The Cloud TV Suite from Comcast Technology Solutions is enabling the digital transformation journeys of broadcasters, operators and D2C providers globally. The Cloud Video Platform (CVP) is the core of the Cloud TV Suite. Within CVP, I manage the technology components associated with defining the rules for connecting content with consumers - content security, identity and business and policy logic.In addition, I maintain the commercial model behind Cloud TV - the pricing model, cost optimisations and the segmentation, targeting and positioning analyses to define our target market segments.

Leading the product management team within Arqiva's direct-to-consumer video business. We build solutions and infrastructure to enable broadcasters and rights holders to launch direct to consumer propositions. Some of these propositions are productised offerings, such as linear streaming into platforms such as Freeview and Youview, whereas others are systems integration and infrastructure as a service.Our portfolio includes:- Connect TV: free-to-air linear streaming and big data analytic platform for Freeview HD devices- Subscription-based monetisation for Freeview channels: sign-up and ecommerce platform via a web page, encrypted delivery to Freeview HD devices, and a call centre web app for managing consumer queries- OTT Live: live-linear direct-to-consumer distribution, building on our rich heritage of managing B2B live-linear distribution. Our service is fully managed - the customer provides the content and we do the rest, including providing a consumer helpdesk alongside our usual high levels of corporate support via our MCRs. The service includes a payments platform, an automated CMS for event publication to a consumer web page, a white-label B2C application, the B2C helpdesk and a consumer account management system.The product management team leads the portfolio strategy and direction, product development budget, Agile product ownership and strategic product marketing. We have deployed and run a formal lean and agile product management process.

Ownership of the Multiscreen Video Processing solution over the full life-cycle, from initial conception and launch to development and maturity. The system offers the highest-density transcoding solution on the market (the Ericsson SPR1200) coupled with the most flexible packager/segmenter (the Ericsson NPR1200). In addition, the solution has recently added an end-to-end proposition for multiscreen monetisation via targeted advertising and live-to-file (enabling catch-up TV and start-over TV applications).

Technical sales of the Miniweb connected TV application into Tier 1, 2 and 3 STB and TV OEMs. The application focused on providing a marketplace for monetising content from the wealth of small-scale web-based content providers who would otherwise have lacked the scale to launch services onto connected platforms.

Ownership of the multimedia technology platform and roadmap for the open-source Symbian platform. Drove the roadmap by engaging with the Symbian community to secure contributions, both source code and tooling (such as the Playability Test Database for sharing multimedia playability testing amongst a community of volunteers).

Ownership of customer engagement projects from initial requirements capture through to launch. Successes include the Roku Netflix Player - an early entrant into the OTT progressive download market.
